Leather Jewelry Pieces - Rings, bracelets & etc.:

bleaches, ammonias, and chlorines. Harsh facial
cleaners can change the texture of the leather band
or ring. Natural water is fine, but can either shrink or
stretch band. To condition leather, order leather oil
from me!

items when doing house work or handling messy
cleansers or chemical can discolor the leather,
whether it's natural or dyed.
Hairs sprays : Bad because they usually contain
alcohols which are abrasive to leather and can dry
out the natural texture, look and durability.
It is generally best to remove ALL jewelry when
cleaning, or before working with any type of
chemical, whether it be household cleaners or
facial/body products.

bleach products, windex because it contains ammonia.
Ammonia is bad for jewelry!
Dish soaps & dish water: Some dish soaps contain
anti-bacterial chemicals in soaps that can be harsh for your
jewelry piece.
Oils: Can discolor and cloud semi-precious and precious gems
because they usually contain acidic by-products, unless they're
specifically made for polishing stones.
Chemicals: if it has a strong chemical odor, then it's bad for
your jewelry.
Harsh facial cleansers and hair products: It is best to remove
jewelry items when doing house work, or handling messy
cleansers or chemicals. Hairs sprays are also bad because they
usually contain alcohols which are abrasive to stones.
Colognes, Perfumes, or Oils: If applying perfumes or colognes,
do not spray onto jewelry pieces. Remove jewelry item, wait
for oil, perfume or cologne to absorb into skin and then apply
jewelry.
